The Talent Acquisition partner will support the day-to-day operations of Talent Acquisition, including building partnerships with leaders to understand their hiring needs, driving talent initiatives, sourcing top talent, and representing our award-winning culture. The role also involves developing Talent Acquisition best practices to ensure successful hiring across the organization.

How you will make an impact

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from creating a job description to extending an offer.
  • Partner with business leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process, providing guidance as needed.
  • Develop recruitment strategies, actively source and screen candidates, and present successful candidates to hiring managers with summaries and recommendations.
  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process with consistent communication.
  • Develop strategic and creative recruitment strategies across Canada.
  • Assist hiring managers in crafting attractive job postings.
  • Partner with leaders to determine offer details using market data and compensation guidelines.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the external talent market and emerging trends.
  • Develop and manage sourcing plans to identify the most appropriate candidate sources.
  • Attend career fairs and collaborate with schools and associations to enhance brand awareness.

What you'll bring to our team

  • Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or certificate in Human Resource Management, or equivalent work experience in recruitment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in high-volume recruitment using various sourcing techniques.
  • A strong interest and passion for Talent Acquisition.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills, along with a strong work ethic.
  • A proactive, self-confident, and self-motivated attitude.
  • Relationship management skills and confidence in supporting leaders, team members, and candidates.
  • Attention to detail and superior follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, with solid problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Recruitment Designation (RPR) is an asset.
