A leading technology company in Kitchener is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to enhance the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. This role requires at least one year of experience in recruitment or HR coordination and excellent communication and organizational skills. The candidate will guide applicants, schedule interviews, and support recruitment events. A passion for creating a positive hiring experience is essential. The position is expected to work on-site at least 3 days a week.

Job Summary :

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for setting the tone for the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. This role will enable Recruiters and Hiring Managers to continue to deliver our award-winning candidate experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to increase the visibility of D2L, work with hiring managers, and interact directly with candidates. Talent Acquisition Coordinators must have superb communication and organizational skills and must be prepared to support a high volume of hiring. How Will I Make an Impact
  • Guiding candidates throughout the entire recruitment process and recommending interview scheduling best practices to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Scheduling and communicating timelines and expectations to all stakeholders
  • Collecting and reporting Talent Acquisition data to People and Culture stakeholders
  • Requesting reference checks and initiating background screening processes
  • Assisting with recruitment events, including coordinating staff participation, setup, and working at job fairs and networking events
  • Helping establish a recognizable employer brand both internally and externally
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition Partners with the application and execution of the annual Candidate Experience Award submission
  • Collecting new hire documentation and setting up new hires in our HRIS
  • Supporting other recruiting initiatives as needed

  • Guiding candidates through the recruitment process and recommending best practices for interview scheduling

Suggested Qualifications / Experience :
  • Minimum of 1 year of recruitment or HR Coordinator experience in a fast-paced environment or comparable customer-facing office administration experience

Note : This role is located at D2L's Kitchener HQ, with an expectation of working in the office at least 3 days per week.
