Job summary

Germain Hotels group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting through onboarding. You will screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and build talent pipelines while collaborating with hiring managers and the TA team.

You’ll help drive employer branding initiatives, participate in events, internships, and partnerships, and coordinate internships and tax-credit processes to support talent growth across Canada.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment or a similar role.
  • A good understanding of the full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes, projects and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Autonomy, attention to detail and sound judgment when managing priorities.
  • An ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, candidates and various partners.
  • Comfort working with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms and digital tools.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken, due to the nature of the role and interactions with English-speaking colleagues, managers, partners and candidates across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process for assigned positions, from job posting through onboarding.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who match the profiles we are looking for.
  • Conduct phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience and interest.
  • Proactively source candidates and contribute to building talent pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Write, post and maintain job postings across our various platforms, including those used for certain international recruitment initiatives.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives that showcase our teams, career opportunities and the variety of roles available at Germain Hotels.
  • Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, campus activities and other initiatives aimed at developing new talent pools.
  • Coordinate internship-related activities and follow up with hiring managers, educational institutions and partners.
  • Prepare and manage the administrative follow-up for tax credits, grants and other programs related to internships.
  • Participate in various Talent Acquisition projects and coordinate assigned follow-ups, timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain the tools, systems and data required to support recruitment activities.
  • Stay current on Talent Acquisition trends and best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s processes and initiatives.

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will help identify and recruit the best candidates to join our teams.
