We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Associate to join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Manager of Recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Associate will provide support in all aspects of the recruitment process. In addition, the successful candidate will serve as a liaison, conducting external outreach, engagement and recruitment efforts while promoting Niagara Health. Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events for community outreach and recruitment activities is required.
As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will:
o Assist in drafting and posting vacancies to internal and external job boards
o Coordinate and attend interviews, schedule meetings, book rooms or virtual links, and prepare interview materials and confirmations
o Communicate with candidates by sending updates, responding to inquiries, and managing routine correspondence throughout the hiring process
o Assist with pre-employment processes such as reference checks and document collection
o Manage calendars and meetings for Talent Acquisition Specialists, including interview blocks
o Provide general administrative support including organizing files and maintaining recruitment templates
o Assist with recruitment projects and events by supporting initiative rollouts, gathering feedback, and assisting with departmental events and activities
o Represent the Hospital at career fairs, networking, community and student events and initiatives

Qualifications:
o Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
o Minimum of 2 years experience working in Recruitment or Human Resources
o Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
o Experience utilizing virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to draft professional correspondence and respond to inquiries with clarity and discretion
o Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and scheduling
o Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external candidates
o Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to the vision and mission of the NH
o Experience in a large healthcare setting is an asset
o Consistent and regular attendance
