Job description

Job Summary
Asan HR Assistant - Talent Acquisition (TA) (Co-op) will report to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Human Resources, along with attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in Human Resources.

Work Term: Fall 2025 (4 Months: Sept - Dec) or (8 Months: Sept 2025 - April 2026)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (37.5 hours per week): 2-3 days per week in office
Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON

As an HR Assistant – TA, you will:

  • Drive the post-offer and onboarding process.
  • Assist with full cycle campus recruitment - co-op and summer students.
  • Support recruitment for production roles.
  • Process timecards and payments for contingent team members.
  • Support outreach activities and the S&C summer career fair planning.
  • Provide support for TA & HR projects.
  • Assist in creating interview guides and materials.

Who are we looking for? Someone who has…

  • Post-secondary student enrolled in Human Resources Management, Employment Relations, or a similar field.
  • Eligibility and enrollment in a 4- or 8-month co-op program for Fall 2025.
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, time-management, and customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with HCM and ATS is an advantage.
  • A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
