Randstad Canada is hiring for an Embroidery Machine Operator in North York, Ontario. This 3-month contract role offers extension possibilities for the right candidate and exposure to Tajima embroidery setups used in sports apparel customization and retail experiences.

You will load garments from DST files, choose threads and hoops, run inspections, and perform light troubleshooting. The position requires 1–2 years of embroidery operation experience and fluency in English, with shifts including

Responsibilities

• Select thread, fabric, hoops and designs appropriate for each project
• Perform small troubleshooting when needed
• Conduct regular machine inspections and report issues
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• QA by detecting and reporting defective materials or conditions to a supervisor

Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences.

We are currently hiring for Machine Operators for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate.

Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 11:00pm - 7:00am (Night Shift)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Morning Shift)
• Monday to Friday, 4:30pm-1:00am (Afternoon Shift)

Responsibilities

• You will set up Tajima embroidery machines, including the loading of garments/letters/numbers using DST Files.
• You will be selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate for each project.
• You have the ability to carefully perform small troubleshooting exercises when needed.
• You will perform regular machine inspections and report any issues.
• You must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Experience with hooping is a plus, but not required.
• QC is key: You will detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• You have at least 1-2 years of previous embroidery machine operation experience.
• You have at least 6 months of experience in “Hooping” of garments for embroidery.
• You Must be able to fluently speak and understand English.
• Sports background / knowledge is a plus.
• Time Management Completing orders within the stipulated time frame to ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Attention to Detail, Ability to closely follow design specifications and produce high-quality embroidery.
