Job summary

Brobston Group in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an experienced tailor to perform garment alterations for a precise fit and an elevated in-store experience. You will work closely with store management and sales associates, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and customer care.

Responsibilities include alterations of men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers and trousers; accurate markings; collaboration on sizing; keeping the shop organized; and delivering timely service while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Previous garment alteration experience, preferably in men's tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficiency in sewing techniques and basic tailoring equipment and machines.
• Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
• Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
