Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking highly motivated Tactical Security Guards to provide a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, staff, and the public in Picton, Ontario. This full-time role requires a strong security presence, excellent communication, sound judgement, and the ability to respond to incidents and emergencies in a fast-paced setting.

Starting pay is $19.31/hour with a continental rotation schedule (two weeks days, two weeks nights).

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Ability to stand and walk during shift
• Ability to pass Use of Force and NVCI

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of people and property
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors
• Enforce safety procedures and standards
• Escort and assist staff/visitors as needed
• Intervene during an emergency or crisis
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
• Be able to work well in stressful settings
