Role Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-friendly Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience and skill, partnering with stakeholders to deliver a high level of insight.

In this role, you will be responsible for : Tableau Development & Visualization

  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.
  • Ensure dashboards are interactive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.
  • Apply best practices for data visualization and storytelling to provide actionable insights.

SQL Development & Data Management

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Work with relational databases to ensure efficient data retrieval and integration.
  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines to support reporting needs.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Assist in data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and data engineers to enhance data models and reporting structures.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Document data sources, dashboards, and SQL queries for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in the development of Tableau best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide support and training to end users on dashboard functionalities and data interpretation.

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Tableau in a professional setting
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
  • Intermediate SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize queries for data extraction and transformation
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • This role involves periodic travel to the US for client-facing meetings. Candidates must be able to cross the border without restriction

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Looker, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google BigQuery
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
