Chipton-Ross is seeking a Tableau Developer for a remote contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and expanding the Enterprise Tableau Server deployment, including classified and external environments.
• Gain experience in server administration, architecture, application management, and support for enterprise customer adoption and retention.
• Work with Windows / Linux server operating systems.

Required Experience:

• Application and server management familiarity.
• Experience with self-service applications and data sets.
• Ability to give customer demos and develop community engagement.
• Knowledge of customer adoption & retention strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in IT.
• Effective in remote team environments.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and adaptability in dynamic settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 5 to 7 years of IT experience.

Desired Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Tableau Server Administration.
• Experience with application operations, maintenance, and sustainment.
• Previous work in a classified environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux / Windows server OS.
• Experience creating Tableau visualizations.
• Knowledge of database platforms like PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with data prep tools such as Alteryx and Tableau Prep.
• Understanding of server performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Experience in user community development.
• Experience collaborating with business communities for analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with development tools and code management.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud, data centers, and virtualization concepts.
• Programming experience in Python and Ansible.

Accredited HSD / GED
