A leading educational institution seeks a temporary District Inclusion Support Teacher for grades 4-9, focusing on social-emotional learning and behavioral support. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to support students with severe challenges and requires a Master's degree in a related field.

The SEL and Behaviour District Inclusion Support Teacher supports students in grades 4-9 with severe behavioural and/or mental health challenges in both school and alternate environments. The teacher is a member of the District Inclusion Support Team and works collaboratively with both the district and school based team.
Comox Valley Schools and the Inclusive Education department embraces diversity and is commitment to the philosophy of inclusion while recognizing the importance of individualized and personalized supports and services. The successful applicant to this position will have key role in establishing the specific learning program for the students.
