Position Details
  • 1.0 FTE Blended Learning Teacher: Grades 10-12 Humanities and Electives
  • Location: North Vancouver at North Shore Academy (face-to-face instruction required)
  • Note: Temporary position is subject to enrollment

Responsibilities
  • Navigate and deliver personalized online courses using diverse instructional technologies
  • Work online and face-to-face with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Research, develop, and maintain online curriculum supporting blended learning in various settings
Candidate Qualifications
  • Ability to create and manage online courses, assessments, and resources based on current pedagogical frameworks
  • Support students online and in person, including course adaptations and IEPs
  • Proficiency with Brightspace (D2L), Zoom, MyEd, and online learning technology
  • Experience in course design, e-portfolios, and online technology support
  • Experience working collaboratively in curriculum integration and personalized learning environments
  • Experience with Student Learning Plans and co-facilitation with parents
