Winston Churchill High School seeks a Teacher Counsellor committed to a student-first, anti-racist, anti-oppressive approach, emphasizing equity, inclusion, and social justice. The candidate will:

  • Collaborate to foster safe, affirming environments, especially for marginalized students;

  • Approach counselling relationally, prioritizing student voice and agency;
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth;

Qualifications include:

  • Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility;
  • Master of Counselling, or Bachelor/Master of Social Work or related degree.
Conditions of Employment

Candidates must provide:

  • Police and Vulnerable Sector Checks without charges or convictions;
  • Intervention Record Check from Alberta Child and Family Services;
  • Proof of ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.);
  • Social Insurance Number documentation.
