Position: QA Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 110 Days Contract + Possible Extension
Job Description:
QA Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in executing testing-related activities and data reconciliation for large, complex, business-critical systems with support from Senior team members.
- 2-5 years of experience in assisting with test planning, test cases, and expected test results for complex business systems under the guidance of QA lead.
- Some experience in conducting data analysis, cleansing, conversion, and reconciliation on large, complex systems with oversight from Sr QA staff.
- 2-5 years of experience in executing test cases and scenarios for large, complex systems with a focus on understanding and following detailed test plans.
- Good coordination and organizational skills to assist with QA activities, managing tasks within timelines and handling competing priorities.
- Some experience in Accessibility testing aligned with AODA standards.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of workflow, portfolio management, and rule-driven business solutions.
- Familiarity with web-based 3-tier software platforms.
- Proficiency with testing tools and problem tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Microfocus Product Suite).
- Good understanding of Oracle database tools.
- Proficient in desktop tools (Visio, MS Office, MS Project, MS Outlook).
- Working knowledge of custom implementations and COTS implementations, including IBM J-Rules Engine.
- Working knowledge of web-based application development.
- Familiarity with Accessibility testing tools like WAVES, JAWS, NVDA, and Compliance Sheriff.

- Good analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
