Description

We are looking for a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to join our team.

Description

This position is hybrid and based in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

• Provides advice on testing strategies, test plans, testing tools, and resource identification.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments, executing system integration, specialized, and user acceptance tests.
• Develops test plans, scripts, and cases; collaborates with project teams during analysis, design, development, and support phases.

Requirements:

• Experience working with teams, BAs, and stakeholders to understand user stories.
• Creates and executes test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Knowledge of test management solutions, web technologies, data-mining/reporting tools, SDLC methodologies, ITIL processes, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of AODA and relevant standards.
• Experience testing COTS applications like Case Management, Curam, Sibel, Oracle eBS.
• Experience with Azure DevOps in testing activities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing Child Welfare applications.

Additional Skills:

• Planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.
• Knowledge of structured development methodologies, CASE tools, automated testing tools, version control.
• Executing various tests, analyzing defects, troubleshooting, reporting defects, and supporting UAT.
