Job summary

CGL in Canada is seeking a Systems Security Access Specialist on a 15-month temporary full-time contract. The role focuses on defining users, granting access, revoking privileges, and supporting IAM infrastructure in a global environment.

You will handle SLA-driven requests, audit security provisioning, collaborate with business areas, and contribute to project work while maintaining compliance with audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of IAM Operations experience in a mid to large organization.
  • Knowledge of security requirements to satisfy internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill Identity Access requests correctly and within SLA, with high quality and attention to detail.
  • Provides primary operational support of the IAM infrastructure including internal/external customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within defined SLA.
  • Provision and/or remove access to data, systems, and applications in a global environment.
  • Manage lifecycle of all Cooperators System Users, Service Accounts and Privileged Accounts from provisioning to deletion.
  • Respond to Tier 2 tickets escalated.
  • Analyze incident and problem reports to identify trends and propose system modifications to reduce issues.
  • Participate in and/or lead sub-components of projects with deliverables requiring technical resources.
  • Support model, projects, tasks, and initiatives assigned.

The Systems Security Access Specialist is a subject matter expert for all security account administration tasks linked to defining users, granting access and revoking privileges of both internal and external users of computing resources and applications. The incumbent provides security access administration and also monitors and distributes the security administration team workload, acts as primary contact on security issues and audits, works closely with business areas on security provisioning for new applications/projects, performs work audits, and identifies process improvements.

  • Provides primary operational support of the IAM infrastructure which includes providing internal and external customer support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within defined SLA.
  • Provision and or remove access to data, systems, and applications in a global environment
  • Manage the lifecycle of all Cooperators System Users, Service Accounts and Privileged Accounts from provisioning to deletion
  • Respond to second level (i.e., Tier 2) problem tickets that have been escalated.
  • Analyze incident and problem reports to identify trends and proactively identify issues that could ultimately result in support problems and recommend systems modifications to reduce users' problems.
  • Participate in and/or lead sub-components of various projects of medium to large complexity with deliverables that require technical resources.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of IAM Operations experience in a mid to large organization
  • Knowledge of security requirements necessary to satisfy internal and external audits within a complex IT environment.

Expected salary/hourly range $60,574 - $100,956

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
