Job Description

We seek four Intermediate to Senior Systems Engineers for our Air & Naval (A&N) division in Ottawa and Halifax. These roles involve working on programs supporting defense and security operations in Canada and internationally.

The division specializes in integrated sonar systems, acoustic signal processing, training and simulation, and data management platforms, collaborating closely with defense partners to deliver reliable, effective solutions.

Your responsibilities may include:

1. Performing system requirements analysis and definition for new or evolving products.
2. Designing system architecture, conducting trade studies, and defining interfaces.
3. Planning and executing system integration, including lab setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
4. Leading or supporting qualification and acceptance testing.
5. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
6. Collaborating with internal teams and external clients for technical support and discussions.
7. Investigating system issues, performing root cause analysis.
8. Supporting process improvements and tool development.
9. Leading or mentoring junior team members (for senior roles).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in systems engineering, especially with complex electronic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of system development processes and lifecycles.
• Experience with software/hardware engineering processes and requirements management tools.
• Effective technical writing and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and ownership of work.
