As an Systems Engineer I at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of optical and electrical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for building prototypes from clean sheet designs, and troubleshooting, repairing, and testing optical components of existing prototypes. You will be building complex optical and electronic systems as well as providing technical support to the engineering team as needed. You must have experience with free space optical setups including building setups from scratch, 6-axis system alignment and optical performance assessment with aid of opto-electronic equipment. Your expertise in opto-mechanical and opto-electrical systems will contribute to the success of our projects and ensure the reliability and functionality of our products. In this role, you will impact the development and improvement of opto-mechanical and opto-electrical systems, ensuring their performance and functionality meet the highest standards.

The annual base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $85,000 in Cambridge, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
