The primary focus of this role is to support the on-going development, management, maintenance and integration of the Human Resources Information Systems at North York General Hospital, specifically Oracle HCM Cloud. This includes the testing, validation and implementation of software updates and upgrades.
Systems Engineer, Digital Health:
Your goal in this position is to be responsible for providing technical backend support for Hospital and HR systems. You have good knowledge of the IT industry with particular emphasis on Oracle HCM Cloud, Kronos and Office 365. You are passionate about learning new technologies and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.
You are a self-starter with sound judgment and decision-making ability. You work well in a team environment or as an individual. You have good written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to maintain effective working relationships with others. You are able to explain technical matters to non-technical staff members and are customer service-driven, willing to share knowledge.
You also have good organizational and time management skills. This position supports the Hospital’s academic mandate by advancing care through teaching and learning and/or transforming care through research and innovation. This position contributes to the shared responsibility of ensuring health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for staff, physicians, volunteers, learners, patients, and families.
