Job summary

CGL is seeking a Systems Developer in Regina, Canada. This hybrid, regular full-time role focuses on building web-based applications using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server. You will develop, test, and maintain software with CI/CD practices and Azure cloud services.

The position requires 3 years in IT, a post-secondary IT/CS degree, and collaboration with IT partners to deliver reliable solutions. Two days in office are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

As the Systems Developer you will be a member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of moderately complex and diverse team initiatives with the support of your team members.

Technologies you have experience with:

• Intermediate‑level experience designing and building web‑based applications.
• Proficiency with C# and .NET Core development.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio for application development.
• Experience working with SQL Server (design, queries, optimization).
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Azure services, including containerized workloads, Key Vaults, and cloud‑based application development.
• Experience with SDLC, DevOps practices (GitHub), and software design patterns.
• Working knowledge of developing and utilizing APIs.
• Working knowledge of containerized application frameworks.

How you will create impact:

Expected salary range $60,574 to $100,956

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
