Job summary

Rodrigue Métal, a Lévis-based manufacturer, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and analyze industrial air filtration and transport systems in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.

You will validate performance, provide technical support, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining client relationships across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of relevant engineering experience.
• Excellent blueprint reading and modeling abilities.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and bilingual communication with clients outside QC.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze industrial air filtration and residual material transport systems.
• Validate operation and performance of equipment.
• Provide technical support to the engineering team and act as a reference.
• Contribute to air filtration and pneumatic conveying system design.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Perform other related duties.

Job Description

In collaboration with the sales and engineering team, your mandate will be to design and analyze industrial air filtration and residual material transport systems. You will also contribute to improving the performance of our products through your innovative, value-added ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design of new products.
• Validate the operation and performance of equipment.
• Provide technical support to the engineering team and act as an internal reference.
• Contribute to the design of air filtration and pneumatic conveying systems.
• Maintain good business relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Perform all other related duties.

Desired Profile

• Positive leadership and team spirit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering training.
• Several years of relevant experience.
• Excellent knowledge of blueprint reading and modeling.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and the MS Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Have a strong command of French and an intermediate level of English (spoken and written); knowledge of English is required, as the position holder must regularly communicate with clients located outside Quebec, notably in Ontario, New Brunswick, and the United States.
