Systems Control Analyst

Location: 3833 Airport Rd, Denton, TX 76207

Distribution Center: TX100

Part-time Shift(s):

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
• Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

Overview

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team-oriented individuals to work in our fast-paced warehouse. As a Part-time Systems Control Analyst, you will oversee our production systems, including maintenance and optimization of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS-mini load and unit load systems) to meet deadlines and support operations. Fastenal is committed to environmental protection and providing a safe and healthy workplace. This position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the efficiency and function of automated systems and ASRS
• Maintain product flow from the ASRS to downstream departments
• Analyze system and statistical data to identify optimization opportunities
• Support picking operations throughout the distribution center
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules
• Participate in activities supporting health, safety, and sustainability objectives
• Complete environmental health and safety trainings

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills
• Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Pass drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
