Virtusa is seeking a seasoned Power BI Lead to design and deliver enterprise BI solutions. You will own Power BI architecture, data modeling, dashboard development, governance, and stakeholder engagement while leading a team of BI professionals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL data warehousing, and data integration across Azure. You will translate business needs into scalable analytics and drive performance improvements.

Formación

• Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models; expert level.
• DAX, Power Query and data modeling; expert.
• SQL and data warehousing; advanced.
• Power BI architecture, governance and security; advanced.
• Azure Data Services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end Power BI dashboard and report development based on business requirements.
• Define scalable Power BI architecture and star-schema data models.
• Lead and mentor Power BI developers and analysts, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop complex DAX measures and optimize data models and performance.
• Collaborate on data integration and ETL with SQL Server, Azure, and data warehouses.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Lead with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise BI and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Power BI architecture, data modeling, dashboard development, performance optimization, governance, and stakeholder engagement, while leading a team of BI professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Power BI Solution Development: Oversee the end-to-end design and development of Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical solutions based on business requirements.
• Power BI Architecture & Data Modeling: Define scalable Power BI architecture, develop optimized star-schema data models, and establish best practices for enterprise BI solutions.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead and mentor Power BI developers and BI analysts, conduct technical reviews, assign work, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• DAX & Performance Optimization: Develop complex DAX measures and calculations and optimize data models, reports, queries, and Power BI performance.
• Data Integration & ETL: Collaborate with SQL Server, Azure, data warehouses, APIs, and other data sources to design reliable data integration and transformation processes using Power Query and related technologies.
