Job summary

Talantir is seeking an Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst to translate business needs into end-to-end BI solutions. You will design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards that transform complex, cross-domain data for policy, operations, and executive reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with DAX, SQL, and Azure analytics, plus the ability to present insights to executives and stakeholders and to work with large government datasets in a Canada remote setting.

• Direct hands-on experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver end to end BI solutions
• Direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions that transform regulated and complex datasets into actionable insights for policy, operations and executive reporting
• Direct hands-on experience with a comprehensive set of visualization techniques and features that demonstrate both technical depth and storytelling skill using Power Bi.
• Experience developing complex measures, calculated columns, advanced time intelligence using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power Bi
• Direct hands-on experience in analyzing large complex datasets to perform trend analysis, predictive analytics, and forecasting using Power BI and Azure analytics tools
• Experience in presenting and storytelling to effectively communicate data-driven insights to executives and business users within a government organization.
• Experience understanding and developing requirements for analytical projects.
