About the Opportunity
The IM / IT Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to an IM / IT Manager and will take direction from either the IM / IT Lead or Sr. Analyst. The IMIT SA / BA performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to : creation, modification, and deactivation of user accounts in the Clinical Information System (CIS); monitor system performance and user access logs to identify and address potential security risks or inefficiencies; maintain detailed documentation of access provisioning processes, policies, and procedures; respond to and resolve access-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner .
The IM / IT SA / BA works with their team to collaborate with key clinical and business stakeholders throughout the province as the organization, in partnership with the province’s Internal Services Department and the Department of Health and Wellness, moves towards the rationalization of disparate systems and the OPOR strategy. The IM / IT SA / BA will be committed to a high standard of performance and will provide support across the organization to leverage IT applications aligned with NSH’s and its client’s strategic mission, vision and goals. The IM / IT SA / BA performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to : evaluation of requests for change, data retrieval; troubleshooting and assisting with the resolution of application errors and other system issues; development of materials and the communication of system changes to end users; and, building and maintaining all system configuration items in line with best practice and appropriate stakeholder approvals.
