Position : Systems Analyst / Application Support

Duration : 12 months

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Helpdesk / Application Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for end-users in a fast-paced environment for our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 applications, cloud-based platforms, and enterprise tools. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or Batch), endpoint management, and familiarity with ticketing systems, Intune, and MDM solutions is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive) and other desktop applications.
  3. Provide Level 1 and 2 support for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and mobile devices.
  4. Use scripting (PowerShell or Batch) to automate routine support and administrative tasks.
  5. Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Azure AD.
  6. Support and administer Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
  7. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors with proper documentation.
  8. Track, monitor, and document issues in the IT ticketing system (e.g., JIRA).
  9. Assist in the deployment and maintenance of desktop images, patches, and updates.

Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or application support role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 in an enterprise setting.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell or Batch scripting for task automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience with MDM solutions and Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong understanding of ticketing systems and ITIL support practices.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 / 11, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
