Systems Analyst :

On behalf of our Digital Health industry client, Procom is searching for a Systems Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a remote position based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

Systems Analyst - Job Description :

The Digital Health Innovation (DHI) team is focused on delivering provincial digital health strategies and business transformations in British Columbia. This role involves supporting the design and delivery of digital health tools and platforms, contributing to the evolution of a connected health system and digitally enabled healthcare.

Systems Analyst - Responsibilities :

  • Support, monitor, and troubleshoot Single Sign-on technology and supporting infrastructure.
  • Maintain the IDAM and Data Access Strategy and Architecture in alignment with the BC Digital Health Strategy.
  • Support the Identity Provider stack based on Keycloak.
  • Develop minor enhancements for source system, API, and / or data changes affecting SSO interactions.
  • Create and maintain project artifacts such as user flow diagrams and process models.
  • Attend and participate in product sprint meetings and contribute to product development.
  • Assist with primary user research and collaborate with team members to maintain the strategy.
  • Engage with the Digital Health Innovation team to provide insights on digital health landscape changes.
  • Participate in incremental testing for minor enhancements as per the project team’s testing plan.

Systems Analyst - Mandatory Skills :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in large, complex environments.
  • Experience with policies or legislation related to sensitive health information.
  • Extensive knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles and technologies.
  • Experience with health-specific integration technologies like FHIR and HL7.
  • Experience with Keycloak Identity Management solutions.
  • Experience with cloud hosting environment technology (Microsoft Azure).
  • Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with existing IDAM solutions and services used.
  • Experience with emerging IDAM technologies such as Digital Wallets.
  • Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP.
  • Experience with User-Managed Access (UMA) 2.0.
  • Experience with Digital (Verifiable) Credentials.
  • Systems Analyst – Assignment Length :

    This is a 6-month contract position.
