Job Title: Systems Analyst

Description: Completing successful projects requires skill, tenacity, and strategic thinking. Maritime Ontario, established in 1962, provides transportation services across Canada, serving over 5000 customers with innovative solutions. We are seeking a strategic and analytical Systems Analyst to transform problems into solutions, monitor and report data, and ensure effective technology implementation. The role involves working with internal IT teams and external stakeholders to develop and support systems, including EDI and APIs, and improve project strategies. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, supporting projects, and enhancing systems for both technical and personnel improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand integration offerings through EDI and APIs
  • Conduct root cause analysis to reduce support tickets
  • Configure software based on stakeholder needs, collaborating with programmers
  • Develop and model proof of concepts
  • Track and report project activities
  • Create SOPs to improve strategies
  • Design and execute training plans
  • Support projects and users through go-live
  • Support daily operations and identify business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years in an enterprise software environment

  • Experience with Crystal Reports and RPA is a plus
  • Experience in software/system implementation in relevant industries

Assets: Experience with Trimble TruckMate, mapping/visualization software, and other listed tools.
