Are you a Systems Administrator with experience in Windows Server administration? Our large Alberta-based financial client is seeking a Systems Administrator for a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

1. Join our Windows and VMware team for a data center modernization project.
2. Migrate virtual machines from existing vCenters to on-premises and Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) vCenters.
3. Support day-to-day operations with the Windows team.
4. Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

1. Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPO, DFS, DNS, DHCP).
2. VMware expertise (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, SRM, HCX).
3. Cloud experience (Google Cloud VMware Engine - GCVE, GCP).
4. Security and compliance knowledge (Windows security hardening, patching, vulnerability management).
5. Scripting skills (PowerShell).
6. Nice to have: Terraform.
