We are looking for a System Administrator L3 on behalf of one of our clients.
About The Role
Our client, currently experiencing strong growth, is looking for a System Administrator L3 to contribute to the success of their head office. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the technical management of the company’s D365 environments and for collaborating with both internal teams and external partners.
- Location: East Montreal
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
What You Will Do
- Maintain, configure, and optimize D365 instances to ensure peak performance
- Work with the project management team to plan, coordinate, and execute system updates, ensuring smooth integration with minimal operational disruption
- Manage the entire lifecycle of D365 instances, including installations, configurations, upgrades, and decommissions
- Collaborate closely with project and support teams to integrate D365 solutions and resolve technical issues promptly
- Perform daily system monitoring to detect, analyze, and resolve issues (e.g., store statement displays, batch display statuses)
- Handle D365-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution in collaboration with partners
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize D365 features and processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and incidents; prepare regular reports on system status and maintenance activities
- Ensure all configurations and processes comply with company security and compliance policies
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 are an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of experience administering and managing D365 or Business Central systems
- Strong knowledge of the D365 environment, including updates management, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- Experience with DevOps tools, LCS, Power Platform, Azure, SQL, Microsoft infrastructure management, and API-based software architectures
- Familiarity with project management tools, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience in ERP and WMS solution deployment projects involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective solutions to complex issues
- Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external partners
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate to achieve shared goals
- Ability to work independently while managing responsibilities proactively and meeting deadlines
- Advanced English skills (spoken and written), regularly used in communication with external vendors and clients
