Job description

Position Description:

The GTS/DWS/EVS entity oversees the architecture of workstations for agencies, headquarters, and international operations, managing approximately 27,000 PCs for agencies, 13,000 for headquarters, and 80,000 internationally. The current focus is on enhancing the international workstation base, primarily operating on Windows 10, while adapting its components and deployment mechanisms. The technologies employed are predominantly Microsoft-based, supplemented by third-party products like Symantec and Citrix.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

As an expert in cloud workplace integration and application management, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading projects and studies, including opportunity/feasibility phases, needs assessment, cost estimation, and deployment contributions on existing technologies and new shared solutions within the client Group (Windows 10/11, Office 365, SCCM, Active Directory, Intune, strong authentication, disk encryption, mobility, application integration, etc.).
  2. Integrating applications and managing application remediation.
  3. Qualifying application requests and overseeing cloud workplace evolution projects.
  4. Developing industrialization processes for application integration, including corrective and evolutionary maintenance on various workstation platforms (e.g., NDG, NOVA).
  5. Creating application packages, conducting compatibility tests, and integrating drivers and configuration guides.
  6. Supporting migration efforts and monitoring the lifecycle of materials in collaboration with external suppliers.
  7. Integrating new masters and ensuring their internal homologation.
  8. Developing tooling (scripts, APIs) to facilitate these processes.

Profile

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Active Directory
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting
  • Demonstrated experience in system administration and telecommunications, particularly with cloud technologies

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Additional Information:

  • Contract Type: Level 3 expertise in system administration and telecommunications.
  • Selection Criteria: Candidates will be evaluated based on their expertise, references in the field, proposed approach, and ability to manage diverse components of the environment.
  • Data Privacy: No personal data processing is entrusted to the contractor during mission execution.

LANGUAGE: French and English
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
