Job summary

TruPoint Technology Services Ltd. in Toronto, ON, is seeking an IT support specialist with broad desktop and server experience in an MSP or enterprise environment. The role involves remote and on-site support, with some after-hours availability and a customer-first approach.

You will manage Azure and Office 365, cloud workspace solutions (Citrix), backups (Veeam), and data center/network deployments across the GTA and other Canadian locations, with work-from-home and work-from-office options.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in IT or CS.
• Knowledge of Windows workstations and server systems.
• Knowledge of networking principles.
• Knowledge of IT principles, methods, and tools.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
• Be available for after-hours support as needed.
• Help manage Azure and Office 365 environments.
• Help manage cloud computing infrastructure across multiple Canadian locations (GTA, Kelowna, Mississauga).
• Help deploy and maintain Citrix cloud workspace solutions and Veeam backups.
• Assist with Data Center and Network Deployments.
• Carry out ad hoc projects as required.

The right person is customer focused and has broad desktop and server support experience in an MSP or enterprise environment.

We offer work-from-home and work-from-office options but some on-site client and data center support in the GTA is required.
