Job summary

Humana Community Services is seeking a capable administrator with a strong background in human services to support documentation accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration across community housing initiatives. This role emphasizes leadership in guiding staff and maintaining data standards.

The position requires post-secondary education in business or human services, 5+ years in the field, and 2+ years in administrative support. Fluency in French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in fostering an environment conducive to personal wellness and professional growth.
  • Coach and provide feedback to direct-care staff in accordance with policies and procedures with the intention to affect continuous improvement in documentation standards.
  • Confirm quality and accuracy of documentation in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient delivery of services.
  • Audit, monitor, and analyze information and provide feedback on a regular basis to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Provide support to organizational standards and data collection within service delivery through documentation and electronic data.
  • Petty-cash reconciliation
  • Develop and propose policies and procedures to support effective information sharing and documentation methods.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of data within the scope of control; such as licensing/compliance standards, occupancy details, program delivery measurements, occurrence and incident reporting.
  • Conduct and coordinate training events as requested for the benefit of the development of others.
  • Provide peer‑to‑peer support in onboarding, problem solving, and program planning.
  • Attend team meetings, seminars, and professional development activities.
  • Participate in cross‑organizational initiatives, such as licensing, compliance, accreditation, database management, etc.
  • Provide support to cross‑organizational projects such as purchasing, documentation formatting, research, and gathering information.
  • Develop new and maintain existing relationships with communities of practice, external stakeholders, and others to advocate for people receiving services.
  • Liaise with professionals in the community and maintain knowledge on best practices.

Compensation:

$23.84–$28.04/hour plus vacation pay; generous paid time off, including 3 weeks’ vacation; employer-matched RSP; comprehensive health and dental benefits following completion of the probationary period

Schedule:

40 hrs/week; primarily on-site with flexibility as operationally required. Occasional on-call responsibilities related to facilities or security systems
