Position Summary

The System Support Specialist is responsible for learning and maintaining the HR software system for Payroll and HR Outsourcing, including diagnosing issues and launching new services, while supporting the relationship between Vensure, Division Partners, clients, and vendors. This position will work as part of an entrepreneurial team to validate changes to client technology platforms and support new capabilities being implemented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall system setup of HR software and third-party products offered to clients.
  • Maintain User Role Security.
  • Manage Team Project Task Lists.
  • Create and maintain vendor and internal ticket submissions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, including researching documentation and thinking creatively for solutions.
  • Provide internal training; may extend to external training.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, prioritizing effectively.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Bridge the gap between business, technology, and strategy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 2-5 years of customer support experience required.
  • Strong understanding of Payroll Processing for PEO/ASO/EOR and staffing.
  • Expertise in Taxes and reporting to ensure accurate system mapping and updates.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks promptly.
  • Effective communication and teaching skills with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1+ year in Human Resources and/or Payroll preferred.
  • 1+ year utilizing an HRIS, HCM, or HRMS preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner of new software systems.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in French and English, with effective listening, reading, and communication skills in both languages.
