The Opportunity
Location : Ragged Lake, Nova Scotia
Type of Employment : Regular, Full Time
Salary : $63.97 per hour as per IBEW Collective Agreement Local 1928

We are looking for a Transmission System Operator to join our team. Reporting to the System Control Manager, you will work with a team of professionals at our Ragged Lake location.
The Transmission System Operator is accountable for the safe and reliable operation and dispatch of all transmission and connected facilities and the interconnected tie line. This position will operate and maintain both the transmission system and its connected equipment within normal and emergency operating limits. It will also assist the energy system operator in the operation and dispatch of generation within the parameters established by NSPI in accordance with NPCC and NERC Standards.
