Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Junior Systems Integration Verification & Validation Engineering Analyst for our Platforms team. This team is responsible for designing, integrating, and qualifying communication system installations in a variety of platforms (such as the vehicle, static and military platforms)The Platforms team is comprised of system designers and system integration, qualification verification.

In this role no two days are the same! You could expect to:

• Contribute to the development of quality requirements for products or subsystems specifications.,
• Perform technical analysis and document in trade studies, technical papers, and interface or design documents.
• Support design proving, integrating, verifying and qualifying activities with System Integration and Development teams to enable comprehensive new design solutions.
• Solve problems by parsing the problem, examining options, gathering appropriate data and performing analytical assessments
• Explain and document technical analysis, assumptions, conclusions and recommendations.
• Work cooperatively within a Scrum team or with multiple Scrum teams to take on new integration test tasks.
• Perform detailed design, implementation, and test activities in order to complete Sprint tasks.
• Share technical knowledge and skills with other team members.
• Development of acceptance test cases, test procedures and test set-up that validate hardware, firmware, software, and system functionality.
• Executing test cases in a lab environment; analyzing, interpreting and documenting results.
• Writing defect and test summaries and test reports to demonstrate progress and communicate this as required.
• Some generation and maintenance of test scripts for automated testing.
• Analysis and management of requirements mapping to test cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic or related technical/scientific degree.
• Able to apply problem solving skills to daily activities
• Strong communications abilities, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and grow in knowledge area
• Knowledge of wireless and infrastructure-based networking principles is an asset
• Positive approach to learning and trying new things
