Job Description

We are seeking System Engineering Analysts to join our team working on the Canadian Army’s tactical network, specifically the Land Command Support System (LCSS). This platform is used within vehicles and headquarters, and is characterized as a “System of Systems” due to its complexity and diversity. Our team plays a key role in designing, integrating, and testing this system on behalf of DND.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining and documenting capabilities, including descriptions, scope statements, concepts of operations, and use cases based on customer needs and end-user requirements.
  • Gathering requirements for capabilities.
  • Providing guidance to development teams for implementation and revisions.
  • Identifying gaps and areas for improvement to support end users.
  • Supporting stakeholders such as DND and the Canadian Army with guidance and recommendations.
  • Supporting the integration and test teams, reviewing test cases, resolving discrepancies, and analyzing results.
  • Participating in meetings with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Developing and executing engineering plans, processes, and schedules.
  • Owning and being accountable for deliverables and work products, ensuring quality and meeting milestones.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of relevant system engineering or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience in requirements development and system design.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering tools like DOORS and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Proven ability to conduct technical analysis and document results.
  • Capability to meet commitments and deliver quality work.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and NATO Clearance.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada as a citizen or permanent resident.
