Job description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Cerner Systems Analyst to conduct a gap analysis between paper source documents and current configuration options within Cerner Order Sets.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct a gap analysis to determine the need for new PowerPlans.
• Prototype, validate and test the new configuration.
• Engage both internal and external stakeholders across providers, nursing, pharmacy, allied health, etc. to ensure content is reviewed holistically.
• Develop recommendations related to new applications and processes.
• Provide input into development of SOPs and processes.
• Develop and adhere to detailed work plans and timelines for application release and implementation schedules.
• Provide the site(s) with cutover and post implementation support.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience with Cerner Millennium in Systems Analyst or similar roles.
• 3+ years of experience with Cerner Order Sets.
• Experience conducting a gap analysis.
• Experience with prototyping.
• Experience providing cutover and post-implementation support.
