Job summary

Weir Marine Engineering in Victoria, Canada is seeking an experienced IT professional to support naval information systems for the Royal Canadian Navy, delivering Level 3 support and coordinating with DND stakeholders to keep systems secure and reliable.

You will troubleshoot across Microsoft and Linux environments, compute hypervisors, networking, and storage, working hands-on to improve performance and maintainability of mission-critical IT across interconnected environments.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Level 3 support within complex enterprise IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and Linux distributions.
• Experience supporting server, workstation, and infrastructure environments.
• Experience with hypervisors/virtual workloads, networking, storage, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent written communication and collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Canadian citizenship with 10+ years in Canada for security clearance.
