Role Description
- Collaborate closely with a fast-paced development team to maintain a 99.99% uptime ratio.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and help embed DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
- Join an on-call schedule to support and perform after-hours maintenance of supported systems and services.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members.
- Collaborate with various vendor and technology partners.
Required Skill Set :
- 5-7 years of supported Linux operating systems (RedHat).
- 5-7 years supporting IBM Products (WebSphere, IHS, MQ, LDAP, TSM).
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools (Ansible, Github, Atlassian products).
- Kubernetes / OpenShift experience is a plus.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Cloud Observability).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes including Problem and Change Management, Configuration and Release Management.
- Strong understanding of networking, VMware, and patching.
- Experience managing Production, Disaster Recovery, and non-production environments.
- Good documentation skills, capable of writing technical procedures and support documents.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and customer-service orientation.
- Applied problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Solid teamwork, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to share knowledge and learn.
Desired Skill Set :
- Experience with Dynatrace, ITSM, ServiceNow, Confluence, and JIRA.
