Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Systems Administrator to serve as the primary IT presence at assigned site(s). You will manage day-to-day infrastructure operations, resolve L3 escalations from the MSP, and implement changes under supervision.

The role includes opportunities to develop toward Senior Systems Administrator. Responsibilities cover site operations, monitoring, and development tasks, with emphasis on documentation and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware or equivalent), networking basics, and endpoint management.
• Comfortable working independently at a site with remote management oversight.
• Organized and reliable; follows process and documents work without being prompted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the infrastructure health of assigned sites: servers, virtualization, storage, endpoints, local networking.
• Respond to and resolve L3 escalations from the outsourced MSP within defined SLAs.
• Execute infrastructure changes as directed, following RLG change management practices.
• Maintain site infrastructure documentation; update records after every significant change.
• Monitor assigned site infrastructure using RLG tooling; escalate anomalies to the Sr. Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Manager before they become incidents.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks: patching, backup validation, capacity checks, hardware lifecycle tracking.
• Actively develop proficiency across the core technical platforms in use at RLG.
• Engage with Sr. Systems Administrators for guidance on novel problems or complex changes.
• Contribute to runbook documentation based on resolved issues.

Systems Administrators are expected to grow - the role is designed to develop toward Senior Systems Administrator capability over time.
