GFL Environmental is seeking a DZ Swing Driver to join our team at the Aurora location. The ideal candidate must know how to drive a standard vehicle. The primary responsibility is hauling customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional sites.

Key Responsibilities :

• Meet customer service needs and ensure service completion according to policies
• Conduct daily pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Complete assigned daily routes, including driving to customer sites, securing bins, emptying at transfer stations, and returning bins
• Perform driver check-ins and ensure accurate paperwork
• Complete routes safely and efficiently
• Follow protocols at municipal recycling / waste facilities
• Climb ladders on trucks to tarp loads
• Attach the Roll-Off hook to bins, involving bending and lifting 25-50 pounds
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Valid DZ license and a clean Driver’s Abstract
• 1-2 years of experience driving DZ Roll-Off & Front-End trucks
• Mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle maintenance
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
• High integrity and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident and decisive personality
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift 50 lbs
