Job Title : Senior Software Design Assurance Engineer

Location : Hybrid (Work on-site : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

Type : Full-Time Contract

Shift : Day Shift (7.5 hours / day, 37.5 hours / week)

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Software Design Assurance Engineer to join our SW Design Assurance Team. This team plays a critical role in upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality products by ensuring software components and final systems meet the highest engineering and performance standards. This hybrid role involves embedded systems and cloud solutions quality, spanning across scanning technologies, computer vision, and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical leadership in embedded systems and software quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support all quality deliverables through every stage of product development and release.
• Apply best practices in SW design and testing for embedded and cloud systems.
• Manage and escalate software quality issues, ensuring alignment with release goals.
• Perform root cause analysis, risk assessments, and customer-centric defect impact evaluations.
• Develop KPIs and metrics focused on customer-facing product attributes.
• Lead Release Readiness Reviews and quality milestone assessments.
• Actively contribute to design assurance innovation and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, especially in embedded / mobile platforms.
• Deep understanding of wireless technologies, embedded systems, and software QA.
• Strong programming experience in QA automation using tools like Java, Python, etc.
• Proficiency with productivity and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Expertise in software stability and performance optimization strategies.
• Experience with Android, Linux, or embedded Windows architectures.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional technical discussions and reviews.
