SVP - Senior Audit Manager - Regulatory Capital (Spot RWA) Reporting - Mississauga (Hybrid)

The Senior Audit Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Audit Plan, coordinating with the Audit team. The role involves applying internal audit standards to oversee complex audit activities at a regional or country level, focusing on Citi’s control environment related to spot capital and RWA calculation and reporting under U.S. regulatory capital rules (Basel, Regulation Q – 12 CFR 217 and 12 CFR Part 3).

Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end audit processes, including substantive testing and control testing to assess the effectiveness of the spot RWA reporting process and controls.
  • Oversee tracking, review, and validation of issues, partnering with management to ensure effective corrective actions.
  • Partner with management and other audit teams for business monitoring and risk assessment updates.
  • Analyze findings, escalate concerns promptly, and implement trends and technology in auditing.
  • Participate in major business initiatives, advising on change management and broader issues.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and escalating control issues transparently.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in audit, RWA, or regulatory reporting roles (e.g., FFIEC 101, 102, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, Pillar III).
  • Proven success in business, functional, and people management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-quality deliverables under strict deadlines.
  • Experience with continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA) preferred.
