Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Project Estimator to join our Integrated Project Services team in the Montréal/Quebec area. You will advise work teams and clients on construction cost estimates across a range of projects, from institutional to heritage buildings, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or architecture or relevant estimating training.
• Minimum seven years of experience in estimating.
• Experience on multidisciplinary projects (structural, mechanical, electrical).
• French and English fluency in spoken and written.
• Membership or certification assets (AEÉCQ, ECCQ/CICE).

Responsibilities

• Participate in project meetings for estimation needs.
• Develop estimates in UNIFORMAT II format from D to A.
• Analyze plans and specifications to extract quantities.
• Evaluate total costs: labor, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Obtain supplier prices and analyze cost variances.
• Draft BOE with senior estimator support.
• Provide expert estimation support to project teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and technical experts.
• Conduct studies and update the price database for CIMA+.
