Position: Sustainability Specialist (Junior / Intermediate)
Hours: Full time (40hrs/week)
Location: A hybrid workplace primarily based in our Burnaby office

We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist and Facilitator to join our Sustainability Team and support organizations in the public and private sectors to design, implement, and report on ESG, sustainability, or climate action strategies.
About You
You have been working in an organization or as a consultant leading sustainability planning processes and programs, and are looking for a role that expands your experience, expertise, and impact.
You are ready to work independently with clients to design, implement, evaluate, and communicate sustainability plans and workplace programs. To do this work, you ask great questions, listen intently, and reflect on observations, ideas, and recommendations. At the same time, you have the expertise to provide clients with critical information when exploring energy, water, waste, transportation, carbon, and social impact, and you are familiar with major ESG / Sustainability reporting frameworks.
You are motivated by helping people lead change in their organization and developing solutions that engage stakeholders and achieve results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, love facilitating discussions with groups of people, and are drawn to working collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams. To support our business development activities, you also demonstrate the ability to build strong client relationships and are comfortable actively promoting Prism services.
About the Role
Reporting to the Sustainability Team Leader, you will support and/or lead a combination of short-term and multi-year projects. Your workday is dynamic. It consists of coaching clients online and in-person, leading planning sessions and events, and conducting research and writing strategies and reports.

This is a 40-hour-per-week salaried position in a hybrid working environment, primarily based at our main branch in Burnaby. The candidate must have the ability to travel locally with occasional trips to other BC communities and provinces across Canada.
