Job summary

Introba in Vancouver is seeking a Sustainability Intern for Summer 2027 to work with the Sustainability Team on ground-up construction projects and portfolio-wide programs. You will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with engineers and consultants, and contribute to solving real-world sustainability challenges.

The role offers exposure to LEED, LBC, WELL, and other rating systems, with mentorship and opportunities to develop practical expertise in sustainability analysis.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in architecture, civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
• Experience with life-cycle analysis is preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of sustainability analysis, planning, and reporting to align with project goals.
• Contribute to dynamic sustainability projects and engage directly with clients.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and analyze results for actionable insights.
• Evaluate project performance against sustainability rating systems (LEED, LBC, WELL, Fitwel).
• Assist with life-cycle assessments across project typologies and collaborate on key topics like MEP embodied carbon.
• Research emerging sustainability trends and help develop thought leadership content.
