EngSoc is seeking a Sustainability Committee Chair who will advocate for environmental well-being and coordinate sustainability initiatives within the Engineering Society. This managerial role involves working closely with the Director of Equity and Advocacy to implement sustainable practices and engage the student body in relevant initiatives.

Job description

The Sustainability Committee Chair works on the Sustainability committee and works closely with the Director of Equity and Advocacy. The Sustainability Chair acts as an advocate for environmental well-being on behalf of the student body to the Engineering Society by coordinating relevant equity initiatives, reviewing current society practices, and acting as a resource to engineering students. The Sustainability Chair is a managerial role as they manage/run the Sustainability Committee. The Committee is responsible for helping the Society create sustainable practices within the Engineering Society. Applicants should have strong logistical, time management, leadership, and organizational skills. As well as being passionate about supporting and creating sustainability initiatives for the Engineering Society.
