Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking an Analyst Intern - Sustainability Engineering (18 months) based in Toronto, ON. This role provides exposure to climate, energy, supply chain and human rights, with data analysis and cross-functional collaboration across site, regional and corporate teams.

You will develop Sustainability, planning and business skills to support annual disclosures and project studies, while gaining international experience within Kinross’ operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the University of Toronto MSc in Sustainability Management or a 2nd–4th year undergraduate at a Canadian university.
• Applicants should show study and experiences related to dialogue, development, resource extraction, finance and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Compile data for decision making on climate, energy, supply chain and human rights.
• Collect and analyze Sustainability data and summarize findings.
• Collaborate with site, regional and corporate teams, including travel.
• Develop communication materials to share progress with management.
• Support sustainability reporting and annual disclosures.
• Assist in developing business cases for investment decisions with financial analysis.
