Job summary

A leading heavy-duty vehicle parts supplier in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a motivated individual to represent and promote suspension parts products. You will drive sales growth through customer presentations and training sessions and need a strong understanding of the aftermarket business and technical knowledge of suspension parts. Frequent travel, including to the USA, is required. This position offers an opportunity to work with a nationwide network of heavy vehicle parts stores.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the aftermarket business within the heavy-duty vehicle industry.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of suspension parts for trucks.
  • Familiarity with the operational systems of trucks and trailers.
  • Experience in fleet maintenance operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently including travel to USA.

Your route

In This Crucial Role You Would Be

  • Represent and promote the suspension parts products of our key suppliers. Collaborate closely with the product management team to ensure effective implementation of product strategies and meet the needs of our customer base.
  • Drive sales growth by delivering well-organized and thoroughly prepared presentations, customer visits, and training sessions for clients, including truck fleets, installers, manufacturers, spring shops, and associated stores.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive product and category training to members of the sales and operations team, including sales representatives, territory managers, and parts specialists, as well as to members of the management team.
